Alterio Sangiovese Cortona PDO

alterio copertina

With its bright ruby-red color, it has an open and intense nose, presenting flowery components of pansy and peony that enrich its fruity flavor, which, among others, is strong with cherry and blackberry aromas and it is completed by soft and graceful spicy traces. Very well balanced in the mouth, with young tannins and yet already soft and integrated to its important structure and a good acid and refreshing note. Its mineral and elegant finish, deep and persistent, is coherent with the nose, especially for its coming back cherry and blackberry fruity aftertaste.
